LEADERSHIP:

David R. Reading, Chairman and Executive Director. Mr. Reading is the founder of the Mount Amwell Project, Inc. and president of Western Information Technology Services Corp., an IT consulting company. He is a member of the Council of West New Jersey Proprietors, Board member of Preservation New Jersey,  and the Sons of the Revolution.

Richard Bennett Reading IV, Secretary/Treasurer. Owner of Richard B. Reading Associates providing economic research, data analysis, and financial consulting services for various organizations In Princeton, NJ. Mr. Reading has been involved in many historic property restorations.

George D. Muller. Mr. Muller served as a Freeholder of Hunterdon County for eighteen years, six of which he was the Board’s director. He was president of both Flemington Cut Glass, Inc., and Hunterdon Importing, Inc. He has been active in a variety of community service organizations and has served as a trustee of the Hunterdon Medical Center and Centenary College.

Jefferson T. Barnes. Mr. Barnes is a retired certified civil trial attorney by New Jersey Supreme Court. He is active in many preservation organizations including the Hunterdon Land Trust Alliance, New Jersey Conservation Foundation, Hunterdon County Historical Society, Heritage Conservancy-Bucks County, Pa., Friends of the Locktown Stone Church, Princeton Club – New York City,  Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead, and past president of the Delaware River Mill Society. He graduated University of Richmond - T.C. Williams School of Law - J.D. in 1987 and Lynchburg College,  B.A. History (European) in 1976.

Beverly Kirby-McDonough. A financial analyst with more than twenty years’ experience at AT&T in product management and access financial organizations. Beverly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University and performs all the business management functions at the Mount Amwell Project. Beverly also has a keen interest in cemetery preservation having previously created several online Hunterdon cemetery web sites. She is also the recording secretary for the Historic Preservation Commission in Holland Township and treasurer and founding member of the Milford Borough Historical Society.
