The Mount Amwell Project has maintained this cemetery near Rosemont located on private property since 2006. The farm was recently sold and the new owner has signed an agreement with the MTAP to continue maintenance. The land was originally owned by West NJ Proprietor Col. John Reading. Hunterdon philanthropist Lloyd Wescott owned the farm in the 1980’s and he and his & family’s ashes are spread here. Other family burials include Reading, Johnson, & Opdycke. The oldest burial in Joseph Reading 1810. Landscaping company Whole 9 Yards of Sergeantsville cuts the site and MTAP volunteers maintain the gravestones and stone wall.
